He became the head chef Hotel du Vin, of the resort. His television series premiered from the year 1996. He made and with Alistair Apple. In which his focus was to the cakes, desserts and puddings he also enacted from the show at BBC entitled. Martin emerged as a Judge from the show Blue Peter from the year April 2007, Would You Cook It? He has hosted The Amazing British Village Show at the BBC Channel in June, the series and July 2007.

He’s also hosted the TV show, James Martin’s Christmas. He was part on BBC of this Eating with the Enemy in 2007. He’s also opened several restaurants such as James Martin Manchester at the year 2013 and a restaurant within Talbot Hotel, Malton at 2012 and The Leeds Kitchen at 2011. Some of his novels include James Martin Delicious The Deli Cookbook, and Easy British Food and so Forth.
